Hey there! I’m Kara, the owner and artist behind K. Renee Beauty. I’m a wife, mom, and full-time accountant in Lynchburg, VA. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have a daughter who is literally the light of our lives!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about makeup and the transformative power it has. What started as doing prom and special occasion looks for family and friends about 12 years ago, evolved into something much more after the birth of my daughter. I knew I wanted to take my skills to the next level. So, I dove deep into master classes, learned from some of the best in the industry, and in 2022, I launched K. Renee Beauty! ​

I specialize in soft glam and bridal makeup, with a focus on inclusivity and making each client feel like their most confident self. Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, a special occasion, or looking to take a class to improve your skills, I would love to work with you and help you feel beautiful, inside and out.

The most rewarding part of my work is the relationships I get to build. Makeup isn’t just about the end result, it’s about the connections I create along the way. Being part of someone’s special day, being their #1 hype girl, and getting to create a glam that is unique to each client, will always be the most magical part of this job.
